Rarely available on the used market in such pristine condition, we are delighted to offer for sale this matching pair of Vitra's iconic Soft Pad chairs. These are the model EA 208 that come with armrests and swivel on the four star base. 

Configured in leather colour code: Asphalt (Dark Grey). This spec EA 208 will rrp over £3k each when new.

When considering a used Soft Pad there are many factors that need to be thoroughly checked. Firstly due to sheer amount of "inspired" versions on the market, authenticity of the Vitra product is without question No.1 on the list. Once confirmed as genuine, the chairs overall condition should be evaluated. As is super common (and in some office situations unavoidable) the leather upholstery at the top & front corners can become scuffed and damaged. With heavy use the leather seat can become stretched whilst cushions can misshapen & internally deteriorate. With incorrect storage the polished aluminium sections can become blemished or worse still pitted. And without careful handling during transportation, they will without doubt accrue unsightly scratches to the armrests and bases. It is a lot for buyers to consider to avoid disappointment!

We can confidently describe these 2 genuine Vitra Soft Pads as being in overall immaculate condition. The chairs have clearly been used lightly, with both being manufacture dated at 2016. The leather upholstery is in absolutely superb order, showing a beautiful patina with very minimal / hardly noticeable indentations to the corners. All polished aluminium sections are virtually unmarked, displaying only the very faintest of surface lines that are too difficult to photograph. Prior viewing of such items is always welcome & recommended if possible, however buyers can rest assured they will be exceptionally pleased with these. Eames Soft Pad chairs are true design classics, lovely examples like this will forever hold their value.
