Superb used examples of Herman Miller's brilliant Setu chairs.
When it was first released in 2009, Setu was a pioneering design. The team at Studio 7.5 had observed a change in the way people sat and worked. Gone was the necessity for lots of leavers & bulky mechanisms, in came a one-piece seat mesh that flexed & reclined on demand. The result was an vastly innovative & uncomplicated chair that offered instant comfort and freedom to spontaneously change postures.
Integrated into the sides of the frame is the Kinematic Spine. These control the recline resistance and allow the user to lean back unrestricted. Between these at high tension is the seat mesh woven with polyester & elastomeric, contouring beautifully to most back shapes. Take our word for it, the Setu is seriously comfortable.
Based on the success of the Setu and utilising it's best features, the team at Studio 7.5 went on to produce the Cosm in 2018, one of the flagship chairs in the Herman Miller range. At this price point, it is difficult to recommend a more competent chair for home office environments.
These chairs have been configured in the super smart finish of Graphite frame and mesh with the Satin finish aluminium base's.
The Silver base's are showing some fine lines to top edge that is unfortunately unavoidable from the soles of shoes. That said - none have deep scratches or eye catching blemishes that detract from the chairs overall excellent appearance.
All seat mesh's are absolutely free of rips / tears or snags. The ribbon armpads are displaying a very minor degree of wear from previous office use.
