Designed by Bill Stumpf and Don Chadwick in 1994, Herman Miller's Aeron revolutionised the office furniture industry. From news readers to stockbrokers to music moguls, the Aeron became THE must-have office chair. Comfort-wise, its hard to challenge the commonly held belief that affirms the Aeron as one of the most comfortable chairs on the market.
The Aeron pioneered the use of Pellicle mesh and focused strongly on key ergonomic features such as the lumbar support. Also new was to offer the chair in 3 differing sizes (A/B & C). This allowed users to reference a chart and correctly select the size chair intended for their own body height & weight. Now personally configured - the Aeron was not for sharing!
Testament to Aeron's design is its legendary build quality and durability. Being constructed from strong composite plastics and aluminium frame, serviceable mechanisms and renewable components - Herman Miller simply made this chair too well.
Aesthetically the Aeron pulls off something genuinely hard to achieve with office furniture - to look very cool without sacrificing its primary function of providing the highest levels of ergonomic seating. With millions of units sold worldwide, the Aeron chair is still universally regarded as the gold standard of office seating.
The Aeron chair is now one of a select few true design icons, and with the release of a new model called the Remastered, the original Aeron was officially rebranded as the "Classic".
Our part is to meticulously refurbish the chairs to an excellent finish, with all adjustments thoroughly checked & serviced to ensure perfect working order for its next owner.
Configured in the Graphite frame with Carbon (Black) mesh, with adjustments consisting of both forward & recline tilts, full motion adjustable armrests and lumbar support.
All Pellicle mesh sections have absolutely no rips / tears or snags whatsoever. Armpads are in immaculate unmarked condition, with the chairs showing only minimal surface marks from previous office use.
