Designed by Bill Stumpf and Don Chadwick in 1994, Herman Miller's Aeron revolutionised the office furniture industry. From News Readers to Stockbrokers to Music Moguls, Aeron fast became the must-have chair. Comfort-wise, its hard to challenge the internationally held belief that regards the Aeron as one of the most comfortable office chairs available.
The Aeron pioneered the use of Pellicle mesh and strongly focused on key ergonomic features such as the Lumbar support. Also new was to offer the chair in 3 varying sizes (A/B & C). This allowed users to reference a chart and correctly select the size chair intended for their own body height & weight. Now personally configured - the Aeron was not for sharing!
Testament to Aeron's design is its renowned build quality and durability. Being constructed from strong composites and aluminium frame, serviceable mechanisms and replaceable components - Herman Miller simply made this chair too well.
The Aeron chair is also one of a select few true design icons, and with the release of the newer model called the Remastered edition, the original Aeron has been officially rebranded as the "Classic".

All wear & tear components have been replaced with new. Both the backrest & seat mesh are new, the gas lift is new, the armpads are new, the PostureFit pad is new. Even the castors are new (being suitable for both hard and carpeted surfaces).
And most importantly the stunning polished aluminium frame has been professionally restored to give an awesome unblemished finish.
